Using Insight’s OmniCare HL7 export capablities, The Women’s Imaging Center in Colorado has made it easier for physicians to access their patients’ critical information by sending their radiology reports to CORHIO, Colorado’s Health Information Exchange, which is part of the Contexture network.
This is just one of many technologies available on the OmniCare platform to assist in data interoperability and simplifying workflows, joining OmniCare’s paperless workflow and results automation.

Insight announces that it has launched Patient Portal Integration with its OmniCare Version 8, Disease Management Platforms. Patient and Physician result and follow up letters can now be uploaded to your Patient Portal along with options of email and texting. This integration works with systems such as Athena, Epic, Cerner and other third party platforms.
In addition, our advanced communications module can send clinical notes and documentation made in OmnICare’s patient dashboards and navigation systems to your EHR and Patient Chart. Future upgrades to this integration will include patient input of risk history factors to help determine a patient’s cancer risk assessment.

Portal Integration with Athena goes live at 2 health systems: Elevate Women’s Health and Imaging Centers, with locations throughout the Denver Area, and Westchester Medical Group, with locations throughout the Greater NYC area.
August 2021: Encino, CA: Insight’s OmniCare Breast Center Manager has earned the distinction of being certified by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for their National Mammography Database (NMD) V3.0. Being one of a small handful of company’s to be certified, Insight Clients can now automatically submit their data to the NMD through the OmniCare system.
This Omnicare NMD certification and data submission offers Clients additional quality measures to help fulfill Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) reporting requirements. Participation also allows for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV requirements of the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
