May 2022: OmniCare v8 introduces Portal Integration for your Patient and Physician Communications

Insight announces that it has launched Patient Portal Integration with its OmniCare Version 8, Disease Management Platforms.   Patient and Physician result and follow up letters can now be uploaded to your Patient Portal along with options of email and texting.   This integration works with systems such as Athena, Epic, Cerner and other third party platforms. 

In addition, our advanced communications module can send clinical notes and documentation made in OmnICare’s patient dashboards and navigation systems to your EHR and Patient Chart.  Future upgrades to this integration will include patient input of risk history factors to help determine a patient’s cancer risk assessment.
